Maison Halcyon is nestled in the countryside of the Charente Maritime. A peaceful part of paradise with hammocks in the woodland, sun loungers around the crystal clear pool and ping pong in the shade of the trees. There is also a deck in the woodland perfect for yoga or meditation, or just to sit and take in the nature around you.
The Gite
Our Charentaise gite is built with local stone hundreds of years old, is stays cool during the summer (although fans are provided in all rooms for your comfort) and stay lovely and warm during the winter months.
It has all the benefits of being nestled between fields of sunflowers, wheat and corn while all the time being just a five minute drive from the local town of St Savinien (17350).
The building itself retains all the beauty of a traditional French gite but has a great blend of old and new with all that you could need..
